I have never really loved the color of our front porch shutters. When we bought them, they only came in 8 colors none of which really excited me. I decided to try painting the existing shutters so I visited Sherwin Williams and got some great advice from the salesman. I used exterior latex paint with no primer or bonding agent - straight from the can. The railings looked a little bland so they got a coat of paint along the top to match the shutters. What a fun project!
The dark (almost black green) are the before pictures. The new color is a nice sage green.
